• You are allowed to view up to 5MB of picture per month, maximum of 1MB on any one day. Once you exceed your daily limit, you will not be able to view any more pictures until the next day. Once you exceed your monthly limit, you will not be able to view any more pictures until the beginning of the following month.
• Pictures vary considerably in size, but average around 40KB, so you may view (on average) about 25 pictures per day, or 125 pictures per month for free. Some pictures are as much as 300KB in size, so in some cases, you may reach your daily limit after viewing only 3-5 pictures.
• Because these limits are designed to address bandwidth issues, returning to view the same picture counts the same as viewing different pictures; in other words, you could use up your viewing limit simply by calling up the same picture again and again.
• If you like any of the pictures you find in the archive, you should download them onto your computer while viewing them. This is done in Internet Explorer by performing a right-click over the picture and selecting Save Picture As.
• Note that the image files are temporary; so if you bookmark the image files directly, you will likely get "file not found" errors if you return to the bookmark after more than a few minutes. If you like a picture, you should download it.
